Sed is the ultimate stream editor. Here is my favourite tutorial about sed.
- It's always good to use quotes.
- The character after the s is the delimiter.Pick one at your convience.
- -i option will do the changes in place.
- Use double quotes when you want to interprete some special characters such as environmental variables.
